Lets say you are playing at St Andrews. You can take a picture of the tee off box and mark out where you should aim, highlight bunker directions, remind yourself that it is OB on left, etc. Multiple pictures and notes can be taken for each hole, and linked to the template.
You can also use this template feature as a diary. For example, take a picture with your buddies when you score a hole in 1.
